By paying annual dues, all members agree to the Membership Agreement
Proration or Reimbursement of Dues for New and Resigning Members
For the purpose of determining proration of annual dues for a partial year’s membership (only in the case of new members joining or current members resigning), the total annual dues will be “consumed” at the rate of 1% of the total for each day after June 1.
No dues will be reimbursed after September 5. Use of the club facilities and/or signing a dated application for membership will determine the first day of membership, and receipt by a Board member of a dated stock certificate will determine the last day of membership in computing the above amounts.
Termination of contract (as stated in by-laws)
The Board of Directors, in the manner hereinafter provided, may expel from membership any member who fails to comply with the reasonable and lawful requirements of the Bylaws, Policies, Rules, and Regulations duly made by Windsor Crest Club for the government of its members and may cancel the share of any such offending member, as well as the share of anyone who ceases to be a member by reason of their failure to pay their indebtedness to the corporation, without any liability for accounting. Should the Board of Directors exercise its authority to cancel the share, it shall cause to be paid to its owner the par value thereof less their indebtedness to the corporation, if any.
Damage Clause
Members and their guests shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Windsor Crest Club pool and grounds, including but not limited to the pool area, equipment, furnishings, and any other property owned or operated by the club.
Guest & Visitors Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the enjoyment and safety of WCC by all its members. WCC is a private, not public, club. Adherence to this policy is expected of all members.
Guests/Visitors are welcome at WCC. Anyone not living in a household that holds a WCC membership is considered a visitor. Those who live within the WCC boundaries are NOT allowed to be guests/visitors to WCC. These neighbors have the same opportunity to join WCC. (Exception to this rule is the attendance to a private pavilion party hosted by a WCC member or for WCC employees.)
Guest/Visitor passes are available at the check-in stand. Price set annually. Passes can be purchased with eGift cards, cash, or card. Failure to pay for guests will result in a fine of $50 per unregistered guest, which will be invoiced to the primary member’s account.
Guests/Visitors to WCC must be accompanied by a WCC member at all times. WCC members are responsible for their visitors, ensuring the Guests/Visitors adhere to the WCC rules, and treating other members and the WCC facility with respect.
Guests/Visitors are subject to the same rules as members, including age requirements and swim test if applicable.
Out-of-town family members do not have to pay for a visitor pass. Out-of-town is defined as greater than 30 miles outside of Quad Cities.
Sitters/nannies are not considered visitors but must be registered with the membership. Email Pool Manager to register them.
If you intend to have more than 10 guests/visitors, please rent the pavilion in advance. This will allow the WCC pool committee to plan accordingly for staffing.
Parking spaces on WCC property are reserved for WCC members. Visitors are required to park on the street in the neighborhood.
Linear family members (grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren) are welcome always and do not pay a visitor fee unless they also live within the WCC boundaries. The exception to this rule is the attendance to a private pavilion party hosted by a WCC member or for WCC employees.
Adult to Child Ratio for All Guests/Visitors: This policy does not apply to families without guests. Guests 6 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) member. There must be one adult for every three guests who are 6 years and under. Guests who are 7 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) member. There must be one adult for every five guests who are 7 to 12 years old. Guests who are 13 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a member. When there are more than three guests who are 13 to 17 years old they must be accompanied by one adult (18+) member. This policy includes guests using the pool as part of attending events at the Pavilion.
